The project for Integrated lake water management of Val-des-Monts' watershed is a characterization study that will enable us to illustrate and diagnose the current state of our lakes' watershed. This will clearly identify problems related to water quality and establish an action plan to apply preventive and corrective measures, namely a Water Master Plan (WMP). It will also draw together numerous concerned parties, with the same common goal to collaborate and participate in the overall improvement of our lakes. The project will be carried out in three phases. The first phase will be dedicated to the characterization study, including the watershed diagnosis and the elaboration of a Water Master Plan (WMP), while phases II & III will be dedicated to the implementation of actions and recommendations emitted in the WPM (phase II) as well as to the follow-up and assessment of the project (phase III).
